I have a Plasma tv (Samsung 50") and my computer right next to it. I bought a VGA splitter cable off ebay, the cable allows the computer monitor, and the tv monitor both to be hooked up to the computer, to make it easy to toggle back and forth between tv on the tv, and computer on the tv. Only problem is, when I connect the cables my TV shows that the PC is not connected to it. The connections fit, but it just is not registering on the TV for some reason. Anyone else have this same problem, or anyone know the solution? I may have gotten scammed, because there is no local stores (bestbuy etc...) that carry 'VGA splitter cables', only ebay. Computer and TV connection?
It would be nice if I knew what OS your running. I run dual mon. one samsung 22in, and a 32in. tv/monitor. NO splitters; Just the hdmi uot fr. the pc. to the hdmi in on the 32in. Works great!. I`m running an hpquad core w/ vista ult. and its set up for dual mon. Then I go to the nvidia control pan. for the set-up.
