hi i have a hi-def tv and i brought the proper cables,i plug the in to tv and the pc and my tv says theres no signal?what wrong?thanks

You have to go into your computer's video settings and enable the output and set the resolution to one your TV will accept through the port you are using.
Reply:u will have to look at ur remote and see if there is a source button....then browse thru the sources until u see the pc....thats how mine is...look what input u used on back or side of ur tv then go to that source and it should show up then....good luck
