TV TUNERS. is the quality of video shown by tv tuners in pc at the same level as my tv shows it?

i am going to buy not expensive tv tuner. tell me if u know some specific model of TV TUNER. and please tell me if the quality shown by tuners is the same as TV shows itself ???

Yes, I have used a tuner for 4 years and the image quality is comparable if not slightly better. The only problem you might see is because you'll be running it on a computer, the sound might gradually fall behind the video because you have other programs eating CPU time. But all you have to do is restart the tuner program and it is fine.





I use a WinTV 2000 tuner. The hardware works great, the software has a bug or two but works fine for the most part.
Reply:It depends on the tv tuner and your video card, if you have a good tv tuner and a good video card then it can be as good as TV display
Reply:the best way to do this without having lag time and words not maching up with the ppls mouths is to get an adapter to connect your cable straight to your monitor to turn it into a basically a tv. its kinda a pain to keep switching your monitor cable but as of now its the only way to watch tv on your pc without having to have a supercomputer
