I purchased a samsung 46in lcd tv that will turn on and has sound. But when it comes to the picture, you can see what ever is being displayed but it does not light up like a tv should? There was no cord that came with the tv so I purchased one online which fits samsung tv's, could it be just the cord or is there something else wrong like a backlight?
My lcd tv will not display a picture?
You can see whatever is being displayed but it does not light up LIKE A TV SHOULD....
Do you see a picture? Or none at all??
If none at all, I'd put it back in the box, call the company you bought it from, and ship ALL the contents back to them for an exchange.
If you see a picture, what's wrong with the picture? Too Dark, Too Light? Wrong colors? (check the component cable colors are color-matched on the inputs/outputs) Blurry? (get HD). Or does the TV come on in 30 to 60 seconds and you expect an LCD to start showing a picture 10 seconds after turn-on?
Fill me in on what is wrong....
Reply:I suggest you take it back to where you bought it. They should put it right under guarantee.
