Tv Tuner Quality?

Hi I was looking for a tv tuner internal or external, I found a good external tv tuner but it said resolution

800x600@60,75,85Hz

1024x768@60,75Hz

1280x1024@60Hz

what does this mean?

Well my question is when you watch tv is it just like your watching tv on a regualar tv, quality wise.

Tv Tuner Quality?
I use ATI's TV Wonder card, internal PCI and it works great.

Just like regular tv.

The numbers refer to screen resolution and scan line frequency. The higher the resolution %26amp; frequency, better quality. External cards have a poor reputation, you should research the issue by brand using your search engine.
Reply:when u say quality do u mean reception..it will b the same...wen they talk bout HZ they are talkin bout refresh rates..if u have an LCD monitor at 1280x1024 u have nuthin to worry bout..CRT monitors will b fine too on any res..except 640x480...too big (in my opinion)
Reply:Try a TV TUNER + RADIO FM LEADTEK WinFast TV2000 XP EXPERT. Leadtek is the best on this kind of devices and for VGA cards too.
