I run windows Vista on an HP dv9000 laptop. I use an analogue TV coax adapter in the side bay to watch TV in Mediacenter. Problem is that after I use my computer to watch TV, Yahoo Messanger can no longer find my Web cam - i.e. it says that the web cam is not connected... I know this to be incorrect as the web cam is built INTO the computer. I have figured out that these two components are not playing nice together - how do I go about figuring out why they are conflicting with one another and more importantly, how do I fix it? The problem didn't exist when I ran XP %26amp; both compenents work fine. As long as I don't use my computer to watch TV, my web cam works - but, as soon as I do watch TV; my web cam will not work until the adapter is removed and windows is restarted.
I run Vista, after using TV adapter to watch TV my web cam doesn't work until I restart computer... Why?
First, you get a chicken. If there is a shortage on chickens (which I highly doubt on your island), a baby calf will work but only if it's Sunday. Next, take the chicken (or if it's Sunday, a calf) and hold it above the laptop. Chant "Bibbidty Bobbpidy Boo" three times while skipping around the table, while still holding the chicken (or calf, if it's Sunday) above the laptop. DO this seventeen times, then reverse it twenty five times. Turn your computer on then off twelve times. If this doesn't work the first time, ask the coconut purse selling man that can't talk to help you. I think it would work best if he held the chicken (or calf if it's Sunday), but you should still do the chanting. Skip together around the table. Finally, if this does not work, I'm afraid you will be forced to stop watching TV from your computer. Not to worry because I have a feeling your girlfriend has more than enough time on her hands to take specific notes on the programs you would like to view, and she will share them with you.

Check Task Manager to see if the TV program has shut down.
