I will be getting my dad's huge big screen TV soon, but it has some issues. When watching cable, it will sometimes be green, but other times, it will be fine. I haven't noticed it while watching a DVD, but I could be wrong. But it's probably not the cable because my parents have a TV and cable in their room and it's never green, but they do have a different "box" than the one with the big TV. So, my question is: if I plug an Xbox into it, will it also be green?
If so, what can we do to fix it?
THANKS!!
GREEN tv??
While its very difficult to diagnose a problem like this over the 'net, there is one possible solution. If the input jacks on the back of the tv are the type which require 3 seperate cables (red, blue, %26amp; green), it is possible that your parents have loose red %26amp; blue wires. If this is the case, simply pushing in the cables all the way will alleviate the problem.
However, if its a shorted tube, unfortunately you're looking at $300+ for repair. Good luck!
Reply:not sure, but if ur planning to watch tv on it too, then i suggest u wait for nxt year, they are doing a salleialte change, in year 2009
and i think everything like the visuals will be updated
Reply:TV video cables sometimes carry the red, green and blue color channels on separate wires. If you TV sometimes goes green it implies that the red and blue signal is being dropped for some reason.
Check your cables, connectors etc, one of them might be faulty.
