Popular TV programs in the US now?

I'm from Japan and studying in the US from the middle of this month.


I love watching TV programs of the country.


And I'm curious to know what TV programs (eg. sitcoms, dramas, reality television shows and more) are popular in the US right now, but I'm not sure since I'm in Japan now. What are the popular TV programs in the US now?


Are there any TV programs that I should watch or you recommend watching after arriving in the US?


Are Full House, Friends and Beverly Hills 90210 still re-aired on TV? These are some of my favorite TV programs.

I personally like "60 minutes".


Not keen on any drama.





"Just for Laughs" is just like "Dokkiri Camera" in Japan.


It is funny.





It's not on the list, but I like "Late Show with David Letterman" on CBS and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Comedy Central (CATV).

Reply:well some shows that are popular im not sure why but alot of them are on MTV. some popular programs are America's Next Top Model, Parental Control, Hannah Montana, Suite Life of Zack %26amp; Cody, Las Vegas, House, ER, TRL, OC, My Name Is Earl, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, America's Got Talent and Lost.


i would like to think that Boy Meets World and Drake %26amp; Josh are popular. now if i were going to recommend tv shows itd be those two. you can try watching them if youve never seen them but if you dont like it you dont like it.
