Ok. I am currently looking for a Tv show recorder (I guess it would be a dvr) that I could record tv shows to and then put them on dvd. I do not want to have to buy something that has a monthly fee though. Also I know many people who record stuff on a stand alone recorder.
So simply if you know how to get tv quality picture from recording a tv show please advise me. I do not want picture quality that is worse than the tv though and I know that if you have tivo than you can get tv quality.
