I washed it thinking it was a magic marker line now the screen has a triangle size black spot in the corner of the tv. Could it have been a crack and the windex seeped into it causing it to spread. Thats what my husband said I didnt know your not suppose to wash it with windex. If it did will it dry out? Can I put a fan near the tv to help it dry? Please no mean comments about not knowing about not to wash it with windex this is the first lcd tv I have ever had didnt know.

one guy is wrong it WILL hurt your tv because I did the same thing to my lcd computer moniter now the streak will not go away! it probably seeped through the screen and damaged the pixle(s). because it only is in the corner and the glass is not seald from all the rest of the stuff behind it. you can call a service guy and he will probably be able to fix it. hope this helps! :)
Reply:windex will not hurt you lcd or plasma tv its a mith that it hurts them i service sony tvs the line unless you can feel a crack is probubly a broken pixel witch is very common with lcds
Reply:Do you see that black line at all times? It may just be caused by a video source or the panel may not be aligned.
