Cable tv???

so i just got comcast cable in my room and they gave me the cord that hooks into the wall and then to the back of my tv but the cable isn't long enough to reach my tv so is there some cable i can get to extend the comsat cable


like comcast cable the extender to my tv or can i just use one cable and put it from the wall to my tv


i wus htinking a coax cable is what i use but i dont want to buy it and find out its not was i wus thinking of


if i do need a coax cable how do connect it to my tv and are there any special rules for coax cables?

If the comcast cable is a coaxial cable, then just go to Radio shack with the cable and tell them you want one like it, just longer. There are differences in RF cables used for TV, but over a ashort distance like you have, they're meaningless. Im telling you to take the cable with you so that they can confirm that you've got a plain old coax cable,

Reply:You can take the short cable to a Radio Shack or Circuit City and get a longer one or you can go to your local Comcast office and request a longer one for free.
Reply:You can just use coaxial (coax), s-video, or RCA, if the the cable box and TV have the correct ports.
