Who else hates TV?

I just hate TV it's rubbish





So do you love TV and think it is advantageous or loathe telly and think it is doing more harm than good and why? What doing to our society?





Is it turning just into superfical, sad, couch potatoes or making us more informed? Exactly what are people watching?








Can you not tell by the state of things today that our society is being driven, fuelled and inspired by TV and the rest of the media?





OK two acceptions - the discovery channel and lost.





I haven't watched TV for 3 weeks now (last time Lost was on Sky One)





I guess you might say the same about the Internet, but at least we have more control over that.

Who else hates TV?
Watching TV wastes the valuable time you could spend on meaningful activities. More importantly, it dulls your sensitivity to the real world in which we live.

I prefer DVDs.
