If I watch TV via computer LCD monitor, internal tuner card and connected to wall TV socket would the picture quality be comparable to LCD TV. I am referring specifically to off the air free TV broadcast.

Depends on the quality of your tv card; it needs to be higher quality for an LCD than for a regular CRT tv, as the LCD shows the flaws alot more than old school interlaced NTSC, aka TV. Usually the quality of Name brand Consumer LCD TVs is better than the quality of add on cards, unless it is an expensive addon card or a cheap LCD TV who doesn't want your return business
Reply:A LCD screen is more environmentally friendly but it is probably better to watch the TV itself.
1.You don't have to waste money on extra equipment.
2.TV's are built for the purpose of watching TV on them!
