Dual Tv Setup?

I have two 27" tv's and I'd like to know if I could split a output signal (most likely for dvd or cable tv) so that each tv would recieve the signals. Or if you didn't understand that I basically want a widescreen tv, using two tv's (because I can't afford a real one). Is there some kind of box or something that splits signals in half? Or is there software for a laptop (mine has svideo out) that can seperate the signals so I can make this work?

The box will cost you more than the new TV.





In efect you need to capture the signal, split the frame in two, scale each 1/2 to full (to fill a TV) and send it over.


Plus this is not going to be an HD signal to begin with.
