Dog Watches TV?

My dog actually wakes me up every moring at 8:30 so that I could turn the TV on and she can watch Sesame Street. She actually sits there with her ear all perked up and stares at the tv until it's over. Does anyone else dog watch tv, or better yet... know exactlly when the show they want to watch comes on?

Dog Watches TV?
Awww..you have a really cool doggie! He is some kinda special! I turn on the animal channel everytime I leave, so my dog won't feel alone. He watches the dogs on there sometimes. But your dog is too cool...I can't get over that he loves Sesame Street! LOL
Reply:Good dog.

Maybe she's waiting for Barkley!
Reply:haha That's funny! My older lab could care less about tv, but our lab puppy LOVES tv! His favorite show seems to be America's Funniest Home Videos, because a lot of animals come on!
Reply:Thats cool
Reply:Well you have one unique dog! My Dog also watchs tv all the time. He does pay more attention to certain things and programs on the tv. When i go out i always leave it on for him. Although he doesn't wake me up to watch it... :)
Reply:That's seriously adorable!

never heard of it.
Reply:My dog, a jack Russell, knows when "Corrie" comes on and rushes up to jump up at the cat on the roof on the bottom left corner ! He knows all the commercials that have animals in them, just by hearing the music. He sits every morning in front of the telly, looking from me to the telly to the remote on the coffee table ! ( He's been here before...I'm sure !!) lol
Reply:haha Mine does this too. Other than watching sesame street it has to be animal planet. She's a jack russell. Ice Age is her favorite movie. Why they do this I do not know. My other jack does not care to watch tv.
Reply:my dog loves the animal planet! she doesnt like to watch other dogs! shes always watches elephants!
Reply:Lol
Reply:thats awesome. i wish mine would watch tv and shut up with all of their barking
Reply:thats pretty smart!
Reply:My dog doesn't exactly watch T.V. It just some times barks at it if there is a dog bark.
Reply:that is reallly cool!
Reply:man that dog is like a little brother or sister calling for your attention to turn on the tele and watch their show.
Reply:I had a dog and it did that too. He liked to watch Entertainment tonight.lol.He would perck up his ears too!He actually would stay and watch and when the next show came on he would leave!
Reply:wow, that is cool, my dog doesn't do that!
Reply:That's so cute.

My dogs only watch it for a minute if there's a dog on. When they decide it isn't a threat, and realize they can't smell it, they ignore it.

Have you ever gone on YouTube and put on a barking dogs video for your pup? It's pretty funny.
Reply:My sister's chihuahua likes to watch Sponge Bob Square pants every morning because she leaves the tv on for her dog, to keep her dog occupied, while she's away at work. And when she returns, she would find her dog sitting at the middle of her bed watching tv. Only when the Sponge Bob theme song comes on her dog would run up to watch tv. With other shows, her dog would ignore them. I think it has to do with Sponge Bob's high pitched voice. Dogs love that. Especially my sister's chihuahua.
Reply:Maybe it's her favorite show! :D
Reply:......wow
Reply:please walk your dog more often
Reply:My dog usually watches tv when she hears or sees a dog bark, but I have no idea how your dog knows when. It's a miracle. Dogs are creatures of habit, just 2 let u know.
Reply:Nope and nope
Reply:thats weird but smart dog.
Reply:That is so cute.
Reply:That's so cute. My dog watches Inspector Rex, but she doesn't demand the TV to be turned on at the time it is on. She also randomly barks at the TV and the reflection of the TV in the window.
Reply:hahahaha that is weird and cool at the same time!

man i wish i had a dog like that =/
Reply:my dag also dose that but wakes me up at 2:00

and also to poop
Reply:My cats watch cartoons with me in the mornings, my dog just sleeps.
Reply:MY DOG USED TO DO THAT.

BUT THAT WAS BEFORE HE STOPPED TAKING DRUGS.
