Laptop to TV help.?

I have a IBM Thinkpad T21 laptop and it has a S-video plug in the back and getting a picture to show up on the screen is not the promblem, when i first used this it was running Windows 2000 Professionel. and the picture was fine on the TV. But now it is running XP and when i connect it to the tv now it is zoomed in on the TV screen and it isnt showing the full picture. I mean i cant see the whole screen at once, I have to move the mouse around to see diffrent parts of the screen. What i am trying to ask is how you make it show the whole screen instead just the area the mouse is at?

i did the same with the s video cable ummm go to your display settings and make it smaller i dont know that size i think 1280 x 1024 try that cuz the same thing happend to me i got it working but try that good luck bro
