LCD TV gets lines and loses signal but only on certain camera shots?

We have a Tevion 47" LCD TV which gets lines across picture and sometimes completely loses signal, but it only appears to be from certain shots. Happens both through Sky and terrestrial TV.


EG: When watching Breakfast TV is fine on the newsreaders but gets lines when it jumps to the Financial Section. We've checked all connections and uprated scart leads etc. This is the second TV we've had as we sent the first one back thinking it was the TV, but this is doing the same thing, so we think it must be something to do with out set up. The Sky+ box is working fine through other TVs, so we have discounted this. We are at a complete loss. Can anyone suggest a solution?

sounds like its the tv, as you have checked all the connection etc.





again it's not a branded name, therefore some of the components inside will not work the same as " an expensivise tv ". I believe that one outlet for tevion is aldi.

Reply:If its a tevion tv I assume you got it from aldi if so It comes as standard with a 3 year warranty so Iwould contact the store you brought it from or look on the warranty leaflet you were given with it as to what to do in case of a problem with it dont forget they are not going to shout at you for complaining it could be a faulty batch and they need to know these things and if you dont tell them you have a problem they cant help I hope this helpsTheir website is www.aldi.co.uk
Reply:LCD tv's only show best quality at under 40", for anything over 40" plasma screens should be used. This may be the reason for the picture quality as your LCD is over 40".
