I'm looking into buying another TV. I'm not concerned with getting HD. I'm debating whether or not to get a widescreen TV. I know movies are generally in widescreen format, but I watch TV more than movies. If regular TV shows are going to be widescreen, I might as well get a widescreen TV.
Are TV shows eventually going to be in widescreen format?
THe only T.V. shows that are in widescreen would be in HD as well. If they ever started getting broadcast in widescreen, it would still be a LONG time. Although I have a widescreen and I still enjoy watching T.V. on it, you will get used to it.

Reply:Most TV shows are already broadcast in widescreen format. The edges just get trimmed off if you have a 4:3 TV.
