Is this TV ok for Blu Ray?
You should be good. Any t.v. will play it but some are better than others. You do have to use an HDMI cable though for full quality
Reply:Don't be fooled by other answers, at this TV size 720p is more than adequate. This will display blu-ray and other high-def sources very nicely.A human eye cannot tell the difference between 1080p (full hd) and regular hd (720p) at this size. I personally like the LG line of TVs, although this is a little small for my liking (depends on your usage though) I pride myself on knowing quite a lot about TVs. If you have any more questions feel free to email me.
Reply:By the description of that T.V., I assume that the HDTV is a 720p HDTV.
In order to get the FULL Blu-Ray experience, you need a 1080p HDTV. To get a 1080p HDTV, you are going to spend at least 900+ dollars.
However, a 720p HDTV will give you good picture with Blu-Ray because I use my PS3 with my Samsung 720p HDTV and the picture looks awesome with Blu-Ray. But like I stated earlier, to get the Full Blu-Ray experince, you need a 1080p HDTV.
