Samsung tv saying not to play video consoles?

right, i just bought a samsumg....le32r86wdx....and i bought it with my own mney, being a 16year old it cost me alot!....anyway, i was reading the instructions, and it says, ...

"using a video game console may cause image retention and is not recomended..."

what do i do here?...i bought the tv so that i can play my ps3 in hd in my bedroom, and now it says this?...and its pretty stupid considering the tv actualy has a game mode....what do i do with this?...is it samsung just clearing there back so they dont get in trouble and i have nothing to worry about, or shall i return the tv?....can someone who knows alot about tvs let me know, or just someone who already uses this tv as there gaming tv, do i have anything to worry about?

Samsung tv saying not to play video consoles?
Nice purchase on the TV! I am jealous.

What they are talking about is screen burn-in, and it can happen if you leave any image up on a monitor for long periods of time. Like, for instance, if you watch MTV 24 hours a day for a year, you might notice that you can still see the MTV logo when you're watching something else later. I saw this at the news station I used to work at, they ended up having the stations bug burned in on the lower right of their pretty plasma screens.

Samsung is concerned that you might play some game that would have part of the display showing the same thing for days and days, like a health bar or something else that just stays on the screen when ever you're playing. If you play a REALLY long time, this could happen. We're talking like months. But unless you're a serious addict, it's not going to happen. Mostly, it's just them trying to cover themselves.
Reply:My brother bought a Samsung 32" Widescreen LCD HDTV** (LN-T3242H) 8 months ago and read the manual saying not to hook up a console and so on but he still did and after 8 months, nothing has happened to his tv, so I wouldn't worry too much about hooking your ps3 to it.
Reply:i have a samsung an play my 360 on it all the time. it works fine but it yellows and blues on random part of the screen when i play xbox. i think thats all their trying to say when they dont want you to play video games
