hi i just bought tv cables for my psp slim but it has 5 cables and my tv has 3 and when i connect one red one white and one green cable on my tv sockets which are red, white and yellow it displays my psp on my tv but its black and white its not in progressive scan because when i put it in prog scan it doesnt display anything.. so im stuck with a black and white display on my tv when using my psp... what should i do? i want to watch videos on my tv...should i get and adaptor for my cables to make it only 3? (is there such a thing?) pls help..

you bought the component inputs, you need the composite inputs.
there is a converter for it, but its about $170..
you can use the composite to watch videos, but not play games.
